It's hard to imagine. To imagine love. What is love? Maybe love is just imagination itself. Maybe love comes from the head, not the heart. Yet every time I see you, It's my chest that hurts. It hurts because I can't have you. Tears come from my eyes, but it's my heart that cries out for you. I know love is real, because it hurts. It hurts to love something I can't have. It hurts to love you.

I peeled open my rusty eyes, rubbed them and let them adapt to the newly found light. The side of my head was aching from the window I used as a pillow. I pulled myself up into my seat, stretched my arms down into my lap and let out a loud yawn. After my neck was cracked in two places, there was a loud voice that woke any lingering sleepers. It's like I fell off the edge of the world. Not a feeling I'm particularly used to, but it felt good. That feeling of awesomeness, fear and mystery. Feeling like you're invincible. Powerful. King of the small world below you. Far away from anything, yet everything feels within your reach. Am I here? Breathless. Nothing in sight. The only reassurance that I am still alive is the hard beating in my chest. Panic keeps me from closing my eyes, for now. I am panicking now, but soon, bliss.

Sometimes I cry for way too long. Sometimes I don't cry at all. This time... This time all I needed was a single tear. My heart shrivels up and drops into my stomach. Burning away all my feelings. What I was and what I could have been, gone, Torn out like a mistake in a book. A book that has finished way too early. An abrupt ending to a beautiful romance, Now more like a horror inside my mind. On the 23rd of June 1998 a baby boy was born. His name was Alex. Alex was my second son. He came out weighing a healthy 7 pounds. He was a very mischievous child starting from the first time he stood upright on his own two legs. He was a very clever child, but he was also a very lazy boy. When he was young he said he wanted to be a firemen. Even when he reached 12 years old he still wanted to be a firemen, we thought he would grow out of it.
